York
York is a walled city in North Yorkshire, England and situated at the meetings of the River Ouse & the River Foss. First founded by the Romans, York’s history continued through the ages to its present day and status as a flourishing city. The most prominent feature is the iconic York Minster. The museums in York are in abundance – JORVIK Viking Centre, National Railway Museum, York Castle Museum, York Army Museum, Richard III Museum, Yorkshire Museum of Farming, Quilt Museum & Gallery, Air Museum, Yorkshire Museum & Gardens and York Dungeon.
