Wadebridge
Wadebridge

Wadebridge is a town in north Cornwall, England. The name, originally ‘Wade’ the town’s name was changed after the vital building of the bridge over a dangerous fording point and became important during the English Civil War. The bridge is also a connecting factor in the Camel Trail, a cycle route using 11 miles of the disused Bodman Railway Line which was one of the first built in the world and carried the first steam trains in Cornwall. Also here is an annual three day agricultural event known as the Royal Cornwall Show. Nearby is the Prideaux Place, The Earl of St. Vincent public house.
