Street is a town within the county of Somerset, England. Situated across the River Brue on the Somerset Levels & Moors – a National Character Area designated by Natural England. The town dates way back to the dark ages, but only a short distance from Glastonbury the history surrounding the town is largely dominated by Glastonbury Abbey – a grade I listed building and now a tourist attraction. Street is home to the first purpose-built outlet shopping scheme in Britain - Clarks Village is a popular visitor attraction with over 75 shops.
