Laggan is a village in the central highlands of Scotland. It is situated within the district of Badenoch on the banks of the River Spey. The profile of the village was raised when it featured on the TV series ‘Monarch of the Glen’, it was known as Glenbogle. Laggan is also within the Cairngorms National Park, a spectacular range of mountains, the largest national park in the British Isles. Laggan has become a hot spot for outdoor activities including Laggan Wolftrax Mountain Bike Trails which are set within the Strathmashie Forest and Laggan Outdoor, an all-out activity centre established in 2007, this centre offers everything from a Zip Wire to Archery, Grass Sledging to Mountain boarding. Laggan is also Eco Cycle Adventures friendly.
