Ilkley is a town in West Yorkshire, England. Only 12 miles from Bradford, Ilkley was originally a Spa town and fast became a popular tourist destination boasting some classic Victorian architecture and that popularity has continued due to the vast and beautiful Ilkley Moor, which expands into the Rombalds Moor. Ilkely Moor is popular for its attractions in the form of Bronze Age evidence which include carvings of the ‘cup and rings’ on The Panorama Stone and a Swastika Stone. Other interests on the moor, include the pre-historic Twelve Apostles, ‘Cow and Calf’ rocks and Ilkley Tarn and the White Wellls, offers glorious views over Ilkley Spa town and the Yorkshire Dales National Park. More recently, Ilkley Play House and award winning Ilkely Brewery has made its mark on the town.
