Fort William is a town within the Highlands of Scotland. Ideally placed amongst some of Scotland’s most spectacular attractions, Fort William also on the shore of Loch Linnhe, is a major tourist hub. Ben Nevis, the UK’s highest mountain, stands proud just south of the town, from which Glen Nevis is formed and the River Nevis flows between. The Munro Mountains surround the area and nearby is the Nevis Range Ski, Snowboard & Mountain Bike Centre which is situated on Aonach Mor, which also hosts the annual UCI Mountain Bike World Cup. The Great Glen Way and the West Highland Way are popular routes which both begin and end in the town. Fort William is also Eco Cycle Adventures friendly.
