Elsdon is a village within Northumberland, England. A fine example of a medieval settlement situated between Otterburn and Rothbury, Elsdon is at the centre of its very own amphitheatre, surrounded by hills and magnificent views within the Northumberland National Park. The village is decorated with medieval buildings such as Elsdon Tower and The Parish Church of St Cuthbert.  Elsdon Motte & Bailey, the site of Elsdon Castle is one of the best preserved. Also here is The Bird in the Bush Elsdon, a family run establishment and The Coach House in Elsdon which offers a tea room, gift shop, gallery and activity centre.
