Caldbeck is a village in Cumbria, England. It is situated almost equidistant from Cockermouth, Keswick, Penrith & Carlisle it is in the northern fells of the Lake District. The village, lies on the River Cald Beck, where its name derives and is a popular tourist spot as it is within easy distance of Skiddaw and Blencathra and its nearest fell, High Pike. St Kentigerns Church is known to be the burial place of the famous local huntsman John Peel.
