Belford
Belford

Belford is a village in Northumberland, England. Situated between Alnick and Berwick upon Tweed, the village found itself, like many, at the forefront of attack during the Border Reivers conflict during the Middle Ages. Belford today is a quiet and thriving village, surrounded with rich pastoral farmland and community. Tourist attractions include Bowden Doors – one of the best rock climbing locations in Northumberland. Also here is Beford Hall, a grade I listed 18th century mansion and Spindlestone Ducket Mill – an interesting feature with an un-classified use!
