Aviemore is a town the highlands of Scotland. Situated within the Cairngorms National Park, Aviemore is a popular tourist town for year round outdoor activities, including winter sports at CairnGorm Mountain – Skiing & Snowboarding, hill walking and the Ridge to River Biking Trail. The Funicular Railway is a must too, a great way to travel up the Cairngorm Mountain. Aviemore also has other fantastic attractions to offer such as the Strathspey Steam Railway, Rothiemurchus Estate, Rothiemurchus Visitors Centre and the Cairngorm Reindeer Centre. Aviemore is also home to the Cairngorm Brewery and some fantastic accommodation including the Mountain Bear Lodges. Aviemore is also Eco Cycle Adventures friendly.
