Alnmouth
Alnmouth

Alnmouth is a village within the Northumberland Coast - Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, England.  The port was predominantly used for grain export, but this ended after the 1806 storm which famously battered the village and changed the course of the River Aln, leaving the harbour completely stranded.  The town is now a picture perfect village of converted Granaries, beautiful coastline and wildlife. Tourist attractions include The Ferryman’s Hut – thought to be the smallest museum in the Britain, St Cuthbert’s Cross. Alnmouth is Eco Cycle Adventures Friendly.
