Land's End
Land's End
Land’s End is the most westerly point of the mainland in Cornwall, England. It is simply one of the most dramatic of coastal landscapes, the cliffs shaped by the waves of the Atlantic Ocean – home to basking sharks, seals and dolphins. Longships Lighthouse is approx. 1 mile off the coast and is nestled amongst the Longships islets and sits on the largest of them, Carn Bras. A photo opportunity has to be the Land’s End Sign post, after completion of the John O’Groats to Land’s End Cycle Route, it is worth being reminded of the miles you have achieved and if you fancy hopping the waters, New York is sign posted a mere 3147 miles.
